Edy really wanted to try on a Cheese Head. Actually he really wants one. But I have never let him really toy with that thought for long. The guy in the store where we tried them on said that nobody that lives there ever buys one. But the boys sure look cute in them dont they?

I love going to the top of the capital building. It's a great view of all of Madison. And so green.

Wisconsin is so beautiful! Daddy got to carry Alejandro sometimes too.

DEVILS LAKE!!!!!
It was so fun taking Edy and Alejandro to Devils Lake. I didnt get to climb around like I used to because I had my lovely boy, but we tried to do what we could. We even got Alejandro up in Devils Doorway, but the picture is on Mom's camera.

I got to carry Alejandro almost the whole time in either this sling or the carrier. I love carrying him on hikes.
This picture of Joel jumping into Devils Lake took 4 shots to catch him in the air. I love the pose.

Joel's and my lovely breaching talent caught on video.

We made sure to take the ferry on the way home. Joel got ice cream while we were waiting too.

On the way to the big, old, long, train tunnel we saw the FREAKING AWESOME old war machines. Alejandro liked the tank so much it was hard to keep him looking at the camera for a picture.

The tunnel was just as cool as I remember it. Alejandro wasn't too big of a fan of the darkness though. The picture of Edy, Ale, and I is one of my very favorites!

There was a fine mist traveling out of the tunnel at one end.

Alejandro made some new friends in WI. Most were from my mission.
Jeri Spangler- Relief Society Pres. Jched Ray- baptized in Sun Prairie

Uncle Steve and Aunt Diane- of course Joyce Waldrop- baptized Sun Prairie

Keri Svoboda- childhood best friend The Nelsons- Bishop Sun Prairie

There were several times while in Wisconsin that I would ask Edy if we could live there. He liked it a lot but never conceeded to live that far awary from the ocean. Wisconsin really is still home to me. I'm glad I got to bring my boys there.

What a great trip! I have fallen way behind. I can't believe I didn't know you made these amazing posts until just barely. I am such a slacker auntie. I feel like there was a huge void in my life I didn't even know was there.
