HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

This picture is awsome. It shows how scary Edy painted Joel's face and it looks like Alejandro is afraid of being held by him. I love it.

The best pictures of Alex's mummy costume are on mom's and dad's camera. But here are some. He was SO CUTE!!!!!

This picture is really dark, but if you look really closely you can see that Alejandro is standing at someone's door waiting to trick-or-treat. We took him just around the road mom and dad live on. It was so much fun.

Kaity dressed up for a singles dance she went to. WAY TO REPRESENT!!!

This picture wasn't even taken on Halloween. But it seemed an appropriate place to post it. I love Edy.

I finally got to do what I've wanted to do for a long time. Dress up and sit outside and scare kids who dont know if I'm real or fake. It was awesome even though not many trick-or-treaters came. I was holding the candy bowl in my lap so you had to get right up next to me to get your candy. For the first girl that came I waited till she was reaching for candy and then said, "take only one." in my lowest, scariest voice. She jumped SO high! Righ after her there was a little family of younger kids. They were with their parents and kept trying to get their dad to get the candy for them because they were too scared. To them I just said Happy Halloween in my scary voice. The youngest girl still wouldn't take it until I spoke to her in my nicest voice I could muster up and told her it was just a mask. The got instantly brave and said, "I know you weren't scary!"
It looked better than these pictures because it was so dark we had to use flash to pick it up on camera.

Dad's masterful creations. The first one is Joels, of course.

6 month photo shoot!

We had another make shift photo shoot. He was actually a little sick this day so I only got one outfit done. I haven't gotten back to taking more pictures yet. There is at leaste one more outfit I want nice pictures of. We'll see.

And this is what was really happening most of the time. He got a couple pieces of leaf stuck to the top of his mouth. hehe.

Alejandro's first sizable mess.

Alejandro is getting around really well in his little walker. He does laps around the kitchen. It's really cute.
The problem is that he really likes the metal rack of plants that mom has next to the scary cactus. Everytime he goes by the rack he stops and reaches out to grab it. We've gotten to putting a chair and the stool in front of it so he can't reach it, but sometimes they get put away at night so we have to remember to put them back...
So the other day Ale was going around in his walker and I noticed that he had gotten close to the rack but was quickly finishing typing something to Edy online. I was going to go get him in a second. He wouldn't have time to grab the rack... CRASH!!!
I dont know how he did it so fast, but he pulled the rack right over. My first concern was him, but he was fine. Everything fell kind of behind him. Luckily we'd already moved the aloe plant off of the rack from when Ale was shewing on a piece of it one day and I read online that it was poisonous. (Turns out you have to eat a lot of it for it to be harmful, but I still dont like the idea of him chewing on it) There were only a few plants on the rack, but it still made a decent mess. It was a pretty busy day with lots of stuff to do so at first I was a little frustrated. I was also worried that Mom would be mad because one of the plants got busted up a bit and another of the pots got a little broken, but my frustration quickly changed to amusement and I decided to document this first mess.

By the way, Mom wasn't mad at all.

Joel's B-day Party!

Joel's Party was really cool. We had it while mom was out of town so Edy and I were mostly in charge of it.
They played video games some, played on the trampline, and did this really cool archery stuff. Edy figured out how to make bows from pbc pipe and made these bows and targets for the boys. They were pretty good and had a lot of fun. I tried to get some video of it, but none of the video's turned out very well.

Edy shot with them too.

Joel wanted a clone cake. Dad made it, of course.

We couldnt find any starwars plates and stuff so we got this cool Transformers stuff. The plates were awesome. They were in the shape of the Transformers emblem.
We also found these AWESOME 3-D masks the boys wore.

Joel Got the Entire Head of the cake. It took up his whole plate and he still hasn't finished it.

Some Fun Alejandro Pics

Playing with friends.

Eating Fun. Just a little messy.

In this picture he had stolen my spoon so I got another one so he could just play with the first one but I could keep feeding him. Then he stole the second spoon too! He's so funny!

Does he look at all like a fat sheik to anyone?

He got into this position on his own originally.

Isn't that a great facial expression? Meghann's isnt bad either.

Again, a self enduced pose.

I LOVE this picture! It makes me Laugh!

He got into holding the rubber ducky in his mouth by the head. Hilarious.

Edy really wanted to try on a Cheese Head. Actually he really wants one. But I have never let him really toy with that thought for long. The guy in the store where we tried them on said that nobody that lives there ever buys one. But the boys sure look cute in them dont they?

I love going to the top of the capital building. It's a great view of all of Madison. And so green.

Wisconsin is so beautiful! Daddy got to carry Alejandro sometimes too.

DEVILS LAKE!!!!!
It was so fun taking Edy and Alejandro to Devils Lake. I didnt get to climb around like I used to because I had my lovely boy, but we tried to do what we could. We even got Alejandro up in Devils Doorway, but the picture is on Mom's camera.

I got to carry Alejandro almost the whole time in either this sling or the carrier. I love carrying him on hikes.
This picture of Joel jumping into Devils Lake took 4 shots to catch him in the air. I love the pose.

Joel's and my lovely breaching talent caught on video.

We made sure to take the ferry on the way home. Joel got ice cream while we were waiting too.

On the way to the big, old, long, train tunnel we saw the FREAKING AWESOME old war machines. Alejandro liked the tank so much it was hard to keep him looking at the camera for a picture.

The tunnel was just as cool as I remember it. Alejandro wasn't too big of a fan of the darkness though. The picture of Edy, Ale, and I is one of my very favorites!

There was a fine mist traveling out of the tunnel at one end.

Alejandro made some new friends in WI. Most were from my mission.
Jeri Spangler- Relief Society Pres. Jched Ray- baptized in Sun Prairie

Uncle Steve and Aunt Diane- of course Joyce Waldrop- baptized Sun Prairie

Keri Svoboda- childhood best friend The Nelsons- Bishop Sun Prairie

There were several times while in Wisconsin that I would ask Edy if we could live there. He liked it a lot but never conceeded to live that far awary from the ocean. Wisconsin really is still home to me. I'm glad I got to bring my boys there.
